Students come from all the area high schools in Seneca, Tioga and Tompkins counties, and attend classes for the entire school year.

You can begin in your junior year and choose to continue a second year program in your senior year. Or you can begin a one year program in your senior year.

There is no cost to attend Career & Tech. Tuition, books and transportation are provided and paid for by your high school.

Career & Tech is designed to fit within your high school requirements, specifically the Regents curriculum.

You would attend classes at Career & Tech in either the morning or afternoon. You then take your required academic courses at your home school during the other part of the day.

You can still participate in regular extracurricular activities and most students eat lunch at their high schools. Transportation to and from your high school depends on you, and your school policies.

To enroll in a Career & Tech program, make an appointment with your high school counselor. There are no entrance exams and spots are filled on a first come, first served basis.

Take a look at your high school career, is there something you would like to explore about yourself that, before now, you didn’t think you would have the chance? Career & Tech just might be the difference between getting by or really succeeding. Your high school education is in your hands. Make the most of it.
