AUTO BODY STUDENTS RECEIVE A FULL DAY OF AIRBRUSH TRAINING

On Monday, April 10th, Richard Markham and The Ohio Auto and Diesel Tech arrived on the Career and Tech campus to give Mr. Gary Kaschak’s Auto Body Students a full day of airbrush training.

Richard is a nationally recognized airbrush and custom paint artist who has been repeatedly recognized in automotive magazines and airbrush publications. He and his crew arrived in a 75 foot mobile training center. The training center, which is actually a tractor trailer, is completely outfitted with 25 artist stations that include easels and air brush units.

Richard also brought with him two show cars that have toured the country, each valued at over a quarter of a million dollars. The cars on were on display for everyone on the campus to see the work of Mr. Markham.

The training lasted all day and the students were spell bound by Richard’s charismatic and energetic personality and awed by his talents. The training was excellent and taught the students many techniques, which they worked on after his demonstrations. We are very fortunate to have had such a great talent work with our students and are planning a future event with air brush and art training for students and local automotive craftsmen.
