TST BOCES Students Compete in Area 2 Regional Competition at Delhi, NY

Twenty-five students traveled several hours over snowy roads in mid-February to match their skills against contestants from other BOCES Career & Tech Centers in our region. This was the first SKILLS USA competition for many of the students, and a real eye opener to the culture and enormity of this organization.

Career & Tech Center is very proud of all of their students that participated in the regional competition as their involvement reflects a commitment to excellence and to dedication to their vocational goals.

The two first place winners were Teata Spencer, a Junior in Cosmetology from Newfield and Logan Randall, a Senior in Carpentry from Groton. The second place winner was Tyler Bogardus, a Food Service student from Groton, and the third place winner was Ethan Scott, a Diesel student from Ithaca. Thank you to all the contestants, their parents, their teachers and the Skills USA advisors for making it happen.
