1. See your guidance counselor in February or early March to discuss your application. Completed applications are due to your guidance counselor by Thursday, March 24, 2011.
  2. The application process includes a written application; an essay on a provided topic relating to the program's focus; letters of recommendation from an English teacher, your guidance counselor, and one other academic subject teacher; an interview with two professionals.
  3. In addition, you should have strong grades, with an average of at least 85% and no grade below 80%. Applicants must have completed all Regents requirements for graduation, and must have completed Regents Math B and three years of Regents science and English by the end of junior year.
  4. Plan on attending one of our Open Houses in March. Parents & guardians are welcome, too! Meet the teachers and current students and tour our facilities.
    • Life Sciences: Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Guterman Lab, Cornell University, 7-9 PM
    • Health Sciences: Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Cayuga Medical Center, Howell Education Center (second floor), 7-9 PM
  5. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by early May.
