TST BOCES Nursery School operates as a learning lab for high school students that are enrolled in Early Childhood Occupations at the TST BOCES Career & Tech Center.

TST BOCES Nursery School invites preschool-aged children, 3 and 4 years old, to enroll in one half-day session as outlined in our Daily Program. Our program typically begins in late September and ends in mid-May. We are not open during the summer months.

Throughout the school year the high school student are learning various aspects of child development, as well as early childhood education. As the high school students gain teaching skills, they are able to implement a variety of learning activities in the Nursery School. High school students are always supervised by their classroom teacher, a NYS certified teacher.

Registration for the fall begins in March, and spaces tend to fill quickly.

Daily Program:

Daily activities usually include the following:

8:45 – 10:00 AM and 11:50 – 1:00 PM
Free choice (learning centers open – includes: art, sensory, dramatic play, Block building, woodworking, table top, games, self-serve snack)

10:00 – 11:00 AM and 1:00 – 2:00 PM
Clean up, group time, outdoor play
